January 10th2010 Mrs Irene Graham of Thorpe Avenue Boscombe , delighted the audience with her reminiscence of the German prisoner of war who was sent each week to do her garden. He was repatriated at the end of 1945.She recalled, "He'd always seemed a nice , friendly chap but when the crocuses came up in the middle of our lawn in February 1946 , they spelled out "Heil Hitler" (Bournemouth Evening Echo)
Female, still 18 in my head but not in real life!Love communicating with people.Want to write a book when I have time (joke).Juggle home and work like most women.Love science and adventure and music, all sorts. Now teaching as a second career and loving it.Kids keep you laughing and raise your spirits.
