January 10th2010 Mrs Irene Graham of Thorpe Avenue Boscombe , delighted the audience with her reminiscence of the German prisoner of war who was sent each week to do her garden. He was repatriated at the end of 1945.She recalled, "He'd always seemed a nice , friendly chap but when the crocuses came up in the middle of our lawn in February 1946 , they spelled out "Heil Hitler" (Bournemouth Evening Echo)

It's hard to believe that I remember when the older of the two was kicking around in your belly. I guess he'll be 21 this year...

I'm confused (completely) - I thought you left in 1986 and that was your first...
Dont be confused...yes..I did leave in 1986..and he was my first...but he was two years old when I left!
